For The Bride With Comfort In Mind.......

I don't know.....so what do you think?
Something you might consider for the sake of comfort.........
.....with the added benefit of height?

These "comfort" shoes are offered at The Lovely Bride....also in metallic and suede.

Any thoughts?

  1. Oh, good luck! I will tell you that when I got married in the dark ages (1982) my parents didn't have a lot of money. My hubby and I were buying our first house - he didn't want to pay rent. I was the first grandchild on either side to get married and my father's only daughter.

It was going to be a big wedding no matter what! Not counting our rings we did the whole thing for $2500. That included my dress. I found a lovely dress at a bridal shop; it just happened to be the former year's style. It was $75. My cake was a wedding gift. A friend did the catering as a gift - we just paid the wholesale cost for the food. We had the reception at a local firehouse; my hubby was a volunteer. I had silk flowers - no one noticed and they were half the price of fresh especially since I was married in February.

Oh, and there were 250 people at the wedding. And we served alcohol. People still talk about what a great party it was.

Some of the worst weddings I have been to have been those $20,000 extravaganzas.

It can be done and it can be done with style and panache!

  2. I am definitely all about practicality and comfort over style (and pain). But I think those are just a little 'too casual' for my taste on wedding day. Are you going to get them?

  4. Haha those are funny! (Sorry!) Not my taste at all; but that's coming from the girl who wore fabulous shoes who had a giant blister from them that lasted through the honeymoon!
